Images crowded my mind
of blank faces, void of names kept me awake, their presence linger Like ghosts, they haunted me. Were they my friends who thought of me? Or antagonists who betrayed me Or future amities who'll befriend me Or just blank faces, no soul, nobody Strange how their images keep coming back In the wee of night they drift unexpectedly, wish they can talk and tell me the meaning of their lucidity.

We all have our shares of sacrifices
We all have our shares of happiness We all have our shares of loneliness We all have our shares of dumbness We look at the stars and get awe at their brightness We look at people and admire their successes We look at each other at blank faces we stare We look and see nothing, we sense no feeling We fly with our spirit and scale the sky Then dive in the seabed to unknown we landed Down on our knees we crawl in darkness Searching for beacon on the way to horizon. |
